Save Scotland's Red Squirrels

We are lucky that the red squirrel population here is more than holding its own, but at some risk from speeding vehicles.

When I contacted our local Save Scotland's Red Squirrels Project Officer I learnt that he had just taken delivery of some warning signs and he agreed to position two on our road. The posts went in last week and then today the signs went up. A few neighbours joined the Project Officer and the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park Ranger for a publicity photo.

Happy to have done something for conservation.
