Rook.
It's back to the bird table with a blip of a rook. Our al-fresco restaurant is frequented by these fellows, up to twenty at a time, where-as we only see the very occassional sleek crow. I do empathise with this scruffy character, none of his clothes quite fit, his trousers are a bit baggy, his feathers look as though they need a thorough grooming (they rattle as he flies off) and his rough grey muzzle is suggestive of poor hygiene, I bet he never cleans his teeth (I can be a little smug here having just been to the dentist for a check-up). With all these masculine attributes I find it very difficult to imagine that any of them are females - let alone ladies.
