What?? Senegal - how on earth do you get that from this photo???

Well ... This is the first time I have seen Sean (Hawkey) in 14 years!! We worked together for a couple of years in Copan Ruinas, a small mountainous village in the western highlands of Honduras. It was crazy times back then - in the aftermath of hurricane Mitch in 1998 there was lots of opportunities to get funding and lots of risks spending it!! Sean had great ideas and energy - and still does!

He has since travelled the world taking amazing photos of the harsh, the humble, the beautiful, the resilient and the defiant. So in this picture we're on a high after coming from his amazing exhibition on fair trade cotton producers in Senegal.

A great reunion ... Long overdue.
