Maggie

Continuing with the theme I began yesterday, with a close up of Miss Tibbs, today it is Mr. Maggie's turn.

I feel quite sorry for my pair of Magpies these days. They were The Originals, the first birds that I began to feed in the garden about three years ago now, yet when the kookaburras are around, they are hunted away from the food by those greedy Kookies!

Come spring, when the Maggies have baby Maggies to feed, the Kookaburras will be hunted away by the Magpies, (and rather aggressively too!)

Right now, however, the Magpies are as gentle as a pair of little lambs. They even take food from my hands now. Oh, but that's only when the Kookies aren't about!
