One year later

Today we went to my cousin’s husband’s 1 year memorial service. One of the first victims of Covid. I remember when they got married, I was their maid of honor. He was such a wonderful soul, always happy, always laughing. He had those eyes that twinkled and laughed. He welcomed everyone to his home. His wife and daughters and grandchildren were his life. May his memory live forever in their hearts and comfort them in their sorrow.
I apologize for a sad post today, but I wanted to mark this day in my journal.
Rain all day today as predicted, a blip of the bouquet hubby brought home the other day.
