Crane time

A layer of snow on the ground this morning. And two more coneys in the traps.

Early doors to Owen’s to collect the thermometer for the brewing device. Then Paisley to scoop up a very hungover Angus. And then to Largs where Claire and her crew have got the boat ready to be lifted onto hard standing.

Angus wants to come home with us, but is not well enough to drive himself, so Claire pilots the Jimny back to Port Acme. Where a sauna is brewing. The glass door adds extra views while also reducing the draught.

Within hours, Claire is on her way back to Kinghorn for the start of school tomorrow. Angus opts for languishing on the sofa.

I stir fry tofu, which Megan seems to appreciate, and then subject the young people to Bond #4 - Thunderball. Megan is astonished by the instability of Sean Connery’s accent - veering from public school to Leith Walk.
