The Golden Girls

I'm not sure I can describe today.
Myself, hubby, and my paddling friends (The Golden Girls) volunteered to be guided on Loch Rannoch by instructors undergoing assessment.
What an amazing day.
Wonderful scenery - snow dusting Schiehallion and Ben Lawers, whilst the mighty Glencoe showed its white grandeur on the West end of the loch.
The waters were, mainly, calm.
The sun shone, most of the time.
The banter was entertaining and uplifting.
We paddled in the snow.
We paddled into a violent squall that capsized two of the group.
We learned impromptu rescue technique.
We were pleasantly weary by the end.
As an absolute bonus, I was almost pain-free today.
Paddling is my drug!
