Magnificent Eleven
The Magnificent 11 is a little inaccurate, the Ramblers walk through Linn Park, Kings Park, Croft Park (its name is up for changing to an extension of Kings Park), Castlemilk and on to the Cathkin Braes was nearer ten.
The blip is taken from the Cathkin Braes highest point, which is also the highest point in Glasgow City. A magnificent view out to the Campsies and beyond to Ben Lomond the Arrachar Alps and quite a bit right towards the Ochils.
Later as we changed direction and descended towards Stamperland the Arran hills were just visible on the horizon.
The milk I bought on my way home has a use by date of 23 April, just three days before further Covid relaxations, and permission to travel anywhere in mainland Scotland.
Now feeling pleasantly sleepy, hoping to stay awake for Line of Duty. The Sunday papers will need to wait.
