Busy bee

I’ve been getting more to grips with my Canon D77. I downloaded Affinity photo and bought the Essential Affinity Photo by Robin Whalley to have a go at improving my shots through post processing. This is my first attempt. The original had blown highlights on the leaves so I corrected that usingbgraduated exposure controls and added clarity to the little bee. I wonder though....is it less authentic?
