Meadows Enforcement

I had a walk through the Meadows around 6pm and what a difference from last weekend when there were mass gatherings and so much trouble .  There are lots of large signs saying it's illegal to drink alcohol and a very light police and Edinburgh Council security presence.  There was evidence on the pavements too of the police on horseback!  It was a very sunny evening although chilly but I would still have expected the Meadows to be busy based on recent weeks.  But it was very quiet and there was no BBQ or picnic debris strewn across the place!
