Doing its best..

We've a small Magnolia stellata in the back lawn. It hasn't grown very well but it does produce flowers each year. I tried to photograph these a few days ago but it was too bright; I couldn't seem to get it right - but now they've been besieged by wind, frost & hail so are showing signs of stress, despite the fact they're not fully open.
