Worth The Wait

After starting with a dozen, two crews of rowers, last week this week saw over two dozen requests to row in the EPIC Gigability rowing club. It seems the word has reached out to Veterans across the county and beyond.
I found myself wishing the day done before heading off and arriving early but again it was thoroughly enjoyable. An hour spent in the company of like minded people with similar backgrounds exercising and having fun.
I laughed at the end when discussions around membership started, talk centred around ‘Social’ and ‘Competitive’ rowing membership, show me a Veteran who isn’t competitive.
Clare is looking forward to her chance to row on Saturday.
