Ye olde throstle

Thrushes like our garden because there are plenty of snails.  The modern english name 'thrush' is unfortunately shared with a rather itchy condition and the latin name 'turdus' has even less pleasant connotations.  I think, therefore, it would be nice if we all reverted to using the old english name, 'throstle'.

A day of bright sunshine but a cold wind and the occasional wintry shower.
