Yellowhammer

A beautiful day and, as I was felling a bit better this morning, I felt like taking Jorgie for a walk.
It turned into more like a stroll along the lanes with my camera rather than our usual faster paced walk but it felt good to be outside.
In just24 hours the oak trees have unfurled new leaves and the corn almost grew as I watched the fields for wildlife.(extra)

By evening I was painfree for the first time in a week - thanks snapper for your suggestion x

It was a far too good evening to be indoors so I headed up to the farmer's fields again.
A yellowhammer popped out of the hedge and was beautifully illuminated against the field shown in the extra.
