More treats

More treats arrived through the door today. A big tray bake of chocolate brownies from our lovely friends Adam and Laura.

Second full round of chemo went ok. I did have a bit of a reaction but at least it happened in hospital this time. I had a bit of oxygen and shed loads of steroids and piriton and things settled. Fortunately my oncologist said it wasn't a full blown allergic reaction and next time they will give it to me slower to give my body more time to cope with it so I'm glad this doesn't mean I can't continue with the treatment. A lot of people can't tolerate oxyplatin. It was all a bit scary but I just have to move on from it, draw a line under it and focus on getting better.
