Glorious, glorious rain.........

.........for over 18 hours so far. So welcome.

The rain is the result of the combination of two cyclones to the north. Towns north of Perth are having serious troubles with winds and flooding. One man has died because of an electric shock caused by a power pole being blown over. Down here, at least 800kms south of the eye, we have just had steady rain and light winds. I hope it stays that way as I always worry about our huge trees coming down in strong winds.
