House about to get some TLC - 'before' shot

This is a detail of a double fronted house with space up the side. The safety netting promotes a renovation company. More and more when houses on such large blocks are sold, a developer puts two in their place. The owners of this house might have just decided to do it up. Wouldn't that be nice.

So far they've pulled out the overgrown garden at the front, revealing the falling down lattice and the rather pretty tiles on the risers of the stairs, in various states of being chipped, broken, missing or OK. Such decorative tiles are typical of houses in the area.
