Wild flowers

After a morning Zoom catch up with my craft guild I lapsed into torpor in the conservatory - something about the cold gloom and observing the 41 gun salute for Prince Philip, the ending of an era. So when I finally roused myself for a late afternoon’s walk I was please by all I saw. As well as the spectacular primula bank, and first ramsons flower (extra), I watched an otter on the river, an egret on the water meadows and a very close view of a jay on the informal ‘bird table’ - a tree stump at the start of the woods where people often put seed.
