Heron, shadow and reflection

Woke in the night with a slightly scratchy throat. Took some Anti-Vir (contains zinc and other good things). Slept well afterwards, and felt almost okay this morning. S encouraged me to to take some Vitamin D as well, there being some pretty good evidence it helps. Apparently we absorb it less well as we age. As S is still recovering and I may be getting unwell, we chose to not got back to the city to look at open homes, and hope to do that next weekend.

Spent more time finding things I've kept for years. Some papers I copied from philosophy journals to read at my leisure. Which has extended for close to twenty years. Seen every now and then with the same response. "This would be good to read; sometime". Today I figured (for most of them) that I've done okay without reading them, and nothing has changed. I did keep a couple; one (with Jennifer Radden as a co-author) is about the need for Philosophy of Psychiatry. I look forward to finally reading it.

Late afternoon, I had to get a replacement bottle of gas for the BBQ, and called in at the Northern end of Snells Beach where I got my two photos. The first of one of the ubiquitous herons, and the other of a wee Tuturiwhatu. The light was very good for photography
