Smoking Gun

Today’s exercise took me and our son into town to look up at the Castle for the 41 gun salute. It was not crowded on the Mound or in the gardens. The Esplanade was busier but plenary of space to move around freely.

The precision of the firing - every 60 seconds - allowed for a countdown and this is one of my better shots capturing the moment of firing.
