Blast from the past

Managed to track down a replacement bulb for my son’s old lava lamp. Not as easy as it sounds. Have tried several different bulbs and the wax has stubbornly refused to melt.
This was the first melting and movement for years. Not quite beautiful globules but it did get there eventually.
