Redwing

They have been pretty scarce on the ground this year until the last few days when their mad dash back to Iceland to breed has been thwarted by the north winds. They have ended up on Uist waiting for the wind to change.
For us the gastronomic treat of a burger from the van operating out of South Uist. For them a few worms.
