A riot of pink

A busy day today.  Youngest son's car has broken down, so I agreed to pick him up for lunch.  After a 1 hour round trip, he suddenly got a message to say that he needed to go return home, so in the car again for another hour. 

My new camera arrived today. I decided to swap my Leica for something more practical.  However, I was upset at how much money it had lost in just 9 months.  The shiny black paint had developed a few scratches and my glasses had also scratched the viewfinder.  When I queried how this was hardly a tool if it could be marked so easily, I was told that I shouldn't wear glasses, but just alter the diopter and always ensure that my tripod had cork under it.  This seems a bit ridiculous to me, but maybe I need to be a bit more careful with my cameras.  The new one is more of a workhorse and, to be honest is more suited to my personality.
