Tulip
Another sunny spring day. A final clean of the Lodge we will pop back tomorrow to leave a message and reassure ourselves everything is perfect after such a long lay off, ready for the guests on Monday.
My main aim for the afternoon was to sow the seeds on the part of the bank I have prepared for the wildflowers. The mixture is designed for butterflies and by coincidence two Small Tortoiseshell butterflies were on the Primula denticulata. I have to make an effort to remember to call them Small Tortoiseshells as I have never seen a Large Tortoiseshell and I think they have now been declared extinct in the UK.
