My friend Cath sent me a message this morning with a photo of her Duke of Edinburgh Awards. She added that Prince Philip paved her way in life. How true this is.

I wonder how many more people are grateful for having had the chance to take part in this scheme.

It was very sad to see the disrespectful remarks on social media ( and Blipfoto) regarding the death of Prince Philip. I just don’t understand it.

On a cheerier note this wee robin was perched on our neighbour’s tree. The blossom has been beautiful this year.
