SH Asterisk Asterisk TV

My Dear Princess, Loulou and Fellows,

Scenes from a mall: this is inside "Coastlands" the shopping mall 10 minutes from our house where I do most of our shopping. They are trying to raise money for large-scale versions of these sculptures to go up by the highway.

I'm not against it. I should investigate and sponsor a whale.

Other than my brief trip over there, not much to report. The main reason I went is for cooked chicken which seems to be filling the gap left by cat biscuits for the boys. They are not allowed to eat anything hard after their teeth op on Wednesday, and I am an indulgent father, so have been cutting up chicken for them instead.

Naturally, the cats approve of this change in policy. I'm not sure if I'll be able to get them to go back. But the good news is that Jasper appears much brighter today and is back to complaining at me, so I think that's a good thing.

The other thing I wanted to tell you about today is myshtv.org, which seems to be one of the more stable and un-virussy tv websites out there. It has a selection of tv from the Southern Hemisphere - you see? That's why SH tv and not at all what you were thinking.

Most of it is sh** though. Including the dreaded Married At First Sight Australia which is not AS trashy this year, but still up there.

Obviously, we are watching.

And I found "Love Island: South Africa" on there yesterday, which took over Caro's day entirely. I didn't mind. I was podcasting.

But if you are bored and in the need of distraction then you can also find Grand Designs New Zealand on there which is a nice show. And Gogglebox Australia, which is funny and if you like a quiz show there's one called, "Hard Quiz" where the host is very rude to the contestants.

Not in the patronising way they are rude to contestants on "The Chase" where the Chasers* make rubbish puns and are crap. I mean the host literally says things like, "That was sh*thouse mate" or even, "Debbie - you're f***ed."

I find it quite funny.

S.

* Having said that, Caro has come back from Tauranga obsessed by The Chase. I blame her mum, who - like all old ladies everywhere - harbours an unsavoury obsession with Bradley Walsh's willy.
