Thin place

14 years ago on my sabbatical I began to learn creative stitching. My source material was Holy Island & I did various things but I’ve always wanted to do my own stitched Priory. Since lockdown my drawing skills have let me draw this, monoprint it onto fabric & today I finished stitching it.

It’s my “ thin place”, below the rainbow arch I commit myself to each new role, promising In Aiden’s words to love them. Now I have it for home
