Sunshine walks around Pateley Bridge, up to St Mary’s church (see extra) for lunch, a no-roof church on top of the hill, along Panorama Walk, through Glasshouses and along the River Nidd back to Pateley Bridge. We celebrated with pies!

St Mary’s Church was built in the late 13th Century but fell into disrepair during the early 1800s. It closed in 1826 having become too small for the congregation .... now there’s a thought.

And the smiles are coming back to Pateley Bridge (see extra)
