Overflow parking

Pricked out the cavalo nero after lunch. Not enough room in the greenhouse for them so for the next few weeks they will be accommodated in the garden room. There’s still a lot more to join them.
The rest of today is being occupied by the last day of our crime fiction festival. I’m not a royalist so my interest in Prince Phillip was quickly exhausted yesterday. I’m bemused by the TV coverage so the festival has been really useful. The media fuss really brings home that the many many thousands of elderly people who have died early as a result of Covid are each a whole human being with a history and a family and a community. You wouldn’t think it from the way those deaths are reported.
