Wild Wednesday ...

... Collage Wednesday.

We had a busy day from start to finish today ... but not as busy as tomorrow will be.

The weather was absolutely gorgeous so I spent the afternoon sitting on the deck in the backyard.  The wildlife was also enjoying this beautiful spring day.  Pictured in my collage in a Northern Cardinal (upper left), R with Kiera (more on that later),  an Eastern gray squirrel with an injured eye (which doesn't seem to slow her down), a Common Grackle and Little Miss Chipster ... my tamest Eastern Chipmunk.  

We had made an appointment for Kiera to have a wellness check this afternoon.  We were concerned about a couple of things but she checked out okay.  She is very round and roly poly and I was concerned about that.  But the vet said that was normal for a young cat and she didn't feel anything wrong when she palpated Kiera's stomach and sides.  And Kiera didn't seem uncomfortable while the vet was doing the exam.  So our minds are now at ease knowing that our beautiful Kiera is healthy. 

After supper we got out to Housenick Memorial Park for a quick walk.
