LD 383 Before and After

I managed to do the first cut of the front lawn today, which is later than in most recent years.   We are noticing the same with lots of things, probably as a result of the slightly colder winter, and the continuing cold snap.

I needed to cut today in any case because Cathleen has started a massive round of moss killing.   The lawn in places looks like it is made of moss, and after the treatment it has to be scarified.    The effect is quite dramatic - the part on the left is the before, but although on the right it looks quite dead you can actually  see the grass beginning to grow in again once you remove the dead moss.   

Lots to be done though - it is going to take some weeks.
