REMEMBERING A SAD DAY.
In honor of the Duke of Edinburgh who sadly died yesterday but in peace at home.
This is a photograph of him in the 1970's when he was introduced to Mr A's father who was in charge of a display stand for REME at the Rushmoor Arena. It was a great honor. And just look at those shiny shoes and the way the officials are making sure Eric (Mr. A's dad) didn't say anything 'out of turn'!!
I hope the Queen can be strong in the days to come and will be allowed to grieve privately.
Our thoughts are with you Mam as you come to terms with your loss and the country's love and respect for him shows through.
Sending love to anyone who needs it. xxxxxx
