Competition time

Our medi-hotel is certainly keeping us amused with various challenges. Today we were sent up some “fantales” and were asked to see who could make the longest line with the wrapper. Martin recalled doing this when he was younger and showed us what to do.

As you can see our first attempt wasn’t great, but the second one not too bad at all, if I can say so ... especially with large hands!

Had a wonderful surprise this morning with a call from the delightful Feather, from Sydney. It was lovely to have a chat with her. She was very encouraging and I so look forward to seeing her, once we’re settled.

On the downward run now ... so far so good.
