East Cairn Hill
It was a nice day so we decided to go up East Cairn Hill and West Cairn Hill in the Pentlands. We parked at Little Vantage and the followed the Thieves Road before striking up the hill to the prominent Cairn in in the blip. The views were great and we could see the fresh snow on the higher hills further north. The first extra is a wee dubh lochan on top looking east towards Edinburgh and the rest of the Pentlands and the second is of a lizard we saw near the cairn. The highest point is further south on a less distinguished point. We had been up East Cairn Hill on January 8.
Best on black.
Today’s entry on the Abstract Fiesta journal is a Lichen mat.
