Testing testing

It was four seasons in one day today, sunshine to snow but always cold. Didn't make it out (again) but a great day of getting sh*t done.

This was me doing some burn tests on a potential new candle fragrance (Lemongrass and Ginger). Every fragrance reacts differently with different wicks and waxes, no universal one size fits all sadly so lots of testing needs to be done. This is 3 different waxes and 2 different wicks with this one.

C3 wax and the TRC 21/12 wick outperformed on melt pool, even burning, look and scent throw on this occasion. One more round of testing with this and the 2nd best (CB wax and the TCR wick) before making a final decision.

Guess it's a bit like baking, a seemingly simple process where many things can (and often do) go wrong.
