Disaster.

So got the bathroom torn out, had most of the new drywall up in place, doing the last couple of pieces and then disaster. One of the pieces I was handling slipped out of my hand, swung at an angle straight into the shower and bathtub enclosure, causing a sizable hole about 18" long.

Unbelievably annoyed with myself.

I could get it repaired for about $200, or replaced for about $3-400. Looks like we're going with replace.

Which means the bathroom 'refresh' really is a full remodel instead.

Look on the bright side though, it was a piece of crap anyway.

Still can't believe that I handled drywall sheets all yesterday (full 8x4 1/2" sheets) on my own, and today I slip with a piece less than quarter of that size.
