No skiing...

It has rained for two days, we have yet to ski. Today we went into Granada, had coffee, I bought some new trousers in the sale, had lunch, then Roy returned to the hotel. I had a mooch, wanted to go into the Cathedral, but guess what, it was closed 2 until 4pm, siesta, along with most of the shops. It beggars belief, Granada is a huge tourist city, we have a recession and yet they still close for a 2 hour lunch, people are wandering round, looking in shop windows, wanting to buy and nothing is open, unless you want tat.

I decided to walk back to the hotel, on the way back I passed a huge display outside the Alhambra Palace of photos of wildlife, it was a conservation project. Interestingly the information was in Spanish and English, some of it made very interesting reading, especially the information about the Zebra octopus.

Hopefully we will get some skiing in tomorrow.
