Evening all,

This was a bit of an odd day really.

Typified by the fact that i blip an Anubis shaped statue, holding what looks like cleaning implements.

Now,sadly, i'm not bad on my Egyptian mythology, i can tell you about the goddess of drawing and geometry, about the god of the earth and the Nile, i can even point you in the direction of the goddess of moist air and moisture should you so need that particular celestial service.

What i can't do is put a name to any god or goddess associated with the dustpan and brush, i know there was a pharaoh called Dedumose, and in our house, if anything dead is brought in, especially rodents of any description, there is much wailing , gnashing of teeth, exhortations to gods, and the ceremonial cleaning products are out in force.....

In other news, number 1 daughter still has a broken foot and is sad,
and i have just paid more for a summer holiday than my dad paid for his first house, and now i'm sad!!!
