Maximus

Today is my birthday. It was a very nice day. Cold but sunny. I heard from two old friends I hadn’t talked to in ages. Also got texts from the entire family which was hilarious. We had Ezell’s chicken and baked beans and cole slaw and rolls. It was very good. Last night we watched the last installment of the Ken Burns Hemingway documentary. It really was amazing. So much I didn’t know about him and the wealth of movies taken during his travels and particularly his time in Europe covering three wars. His time in Paris. Fascinating. It explained so much about many things I had made wrong assumptions about based on earlier documentaries that were sort of cheesy
