Was it a hint?

Thank you all so much for the stars and faves from yesterdays blip, I was so pleased.

The boss bought me a present. Two presents actually. 
I'll wait a day or so and see if she asks whether I've read the book, that should tell the tale of the hint.
The other part of the pressie is planted and waiting for for nature to take its course. Maybe I'll expand the selection in a bigger pot once it's warm enough to put them outside.
In other news, a Caesar salad with home made dressing and BBQ'd chicken went down a treat.
And, finally, it was my turn to book an appointment for a prick. I'm not sure whether I'll be getting one prick or two. I don't think it's a case of the more the merrier. Simple enough process but I opted to wait for an opening at the nearest station rather than travel so a 10 day wait. My choice, no biggie. 
(Hopefully the boss will get her invitation soon.)
