Wild violets
A very windy walk with MrM this afternoon - the Humbleton round. We had to fight against the wind on the way up to the highest point, and at times it was difficult to stay upright. The plus side was that we were blown down the track on the way back!
The daffs in the woods on the Common are slightly past their best, but still fabulous (extra). A bank of wild violets caught my eye though - they're unscented, so probably Common dog violets rather than Sweet violets.
Home in time for the supermarket delivery.
