Lots of small bills posted around Canterbury with slogans like “Like school? You’ll love work”, “It’s landlord season” and “Your boss is not your friend”. The one pictured has weathered beyond meaning.

Skived off work mid-afternoon to show the student on placement how to overcome brain fag by taking a stroll along the river. Left her on a bench clutching a print-out and contemplating the water.
