Wednesday: Fountains
I worked downtown today. It rained quite heavily for most of the day which didn’t lend itself very well for a walk. But the whole point of being downtown is for a change of scenery so instead of taking a lunch break I logged off early and went for a walk after work before heading home as the rain had stopped by then.
I got some bigger pieces of work done today which was satisfying.
And I learnt a new French word today, namely ‘castor’ which means beaver. I will add it the animal drawer in my head where I also have ‘moufette’ which means skunk. Both will be very useful, I’m sure.
This is a fountain near the office, just in case you thought it was slanting rain.
