Bärlauch

Lunch today was pasta with our wild garlic pesto and it was ace, well worth the effort. Then I went experimental with almond, chocolate and grape muffins. Wasn’t too sure eating the first one but the second and third have fair hit the spot, especially with a nice Malbec to wash them down.
Started on a new eBook today, Havana Noir, a short story collection. Was almost thrown off by the intro however - in the first two pages I had to look up a handful of words in the dictionary: miscegenation, tarantism, aphotic, quotidian, misologistic. I admit I should have known two of those but if you recognise them all them you’re kidding yourself ‘cos one of them is definitely made up!
