Snake head

Another spring favourite.  I saw a blip of one of these yesterday so I investigated how mine were doing and they are doing quite well.
After cutting the grass the other day, it was raked and scarified today.  What was a patchwork of green and brown hues is now a more uniform light brown.  I think that is progress.  Feeding and re-seeding to come!  (No wonder I am gradually reducing the area of the garden given over to grass.)
