Mayday mayday
I saw in the news today that a Dutch ship is in huge troubles near the Norwegian coast. The crew and captain already have been rescued from the it by helicopters (one person was rescued from the water). The vessel is now on auto pilot fighting the storm and waves of 15-18 meters high on its own.
It's a vessel from the shipping company AMASUS, located here in Delfzijl.
That makes it even more interesting (for me).
All the troubles started when some of the cargo (consisting of smaller boats) shifted during the storm. Tomorrow the salvage will start by Boskalis, another Dutch company that recently solved the problems in the Suez canal as well. Let's hope they can fix this too.
