Dirty Dozen

Day 65 - busy one and eventful.

3am - reassuring the boy there are no monsters and no it's not time to get up yet!

8.55 - school drop off. Boy is off on his first school trip - multicultural day out in Derby to visit a mosque, temple etc

9.3o - hit the road jack to attend a HQ climate / environment event.

Noon - smoozing and general working the room stuff, although the event was actually very good, informative and had a great free curry lunch.

14.30 - presented a group of pre schoolers with awards for the best drawings on what they think of saving the environment / climate. Soooo cute and one of the best things I've done in my career.

15.00 - quick pit stop at Krispy Kreme to pick up the obligatory donuts for the boy

16.00 - brief life flashing before me moment during a very near miss on the M1 - yikes!

1800 - home to my boy who's only report on the trip was 'went to a temple, I had curry it wasn't too hot, I sat next to Fletcher on the coach who cut me' (wtf!)

19.00 - shared the donuts with the boy

19.30 - bathtime high jinks to M.I.A's Bad Girls (at the boy's request). 'My chain hits my chest when I'm banging on the dashboard'.

20.40 onwards - blip time and all the other boring domestic stuff......

I reckon I deserve one of those 'Dozen' for Mother's Day thank you please ;)
