Path through the dunes

We had not seen the sea for such a long time, so we decided we would venture a little further than normal and find the sea. Walking along the beach at Allonby, just as the sun came out, was a delight. Quite a few people around, but of course there was plenty of space. It was nice to see children playing and people just walking. We even had a picnic - surely those are allowed now!

I did take a few photos of the lovely views across the Solway and liked the way the sky was reflected in the water (see extra), but true to my aim of choosing the most appropriate photo for blip - this is the first view of the sea for a long time, a lovely moment.
