Roy Andersson (b. 1943) directed his first feature-length film ”Swedish Love story” in 1970. It was a critical and popular success in Europe. I saw it at that time.
His second movie (1975) was a flop and for the next 25 years he concentrated on advertising films which are international classics in their brand and more artistic short films.
Then he worked for 4 years for his next feature-lenght film ”Songs from the
second floor” which won the Jury Prize in 2000 Cannes festival.
Today I looked his advertising films.
