April Showers

Swimming again this morning. It’s still freezing outside. We were planning on swimming at Burnsall but when we walked out there, although the water was calling and the sun was glinting, the wind tunnel was doing a fabulous job of funnelling the Arctic blast right down on us .....we turned and retreated to the slightly more sheltered shores of Appletreewick again.
Just as we got in it started snowing! :D
Didn’t stay in so long today. Not feeling quite right and didn’t have the energy to drive against the flow. Ducky said it was 7.9  so, not just our imaginations but actually quite a bit colder.
I think I’m finding this side of the new year temps a bit harder to deal with. The constant up and down.
When we got back home it was a day to sit wrapped up warm on the couch watching Poirot and the snow flurries out the window.
Toby came round at 3. We went out for a 'walk' to Bolton Abby around 5. I wasn't feeling that great again so just threw the ball for Toby in the first field and walked around it. He had a good time anyway.
Home and pizza was delivered. :)
